Easyjet New Fights To Sofia

Easyjet New Fights To Sofia

Bulgarias Finest Ltd previously stated that even with the credit crunch in full swing it expected major airlines to open routes to Bulgaria in the near future, this forecast is already proving to be accurate with the recent news that Easyjet is to open up a new route from Manchester to Sofia on the 11th Dec. The new route has nine low cost flights scheduled per week, with the cost of a ticket is expected to be in the region of £60 for a return journey. Ticket sales for the new route are already exceeding expectations; this indicates more flights will become available in the future as people look to save money on a leisure or business trip.

Major airlines do not open up new routes on a whim, many months of due diligence is carried out before an application is submitted. Easyjet are well aware that Sofia is expected to be one of the most popular tourist destinations for weekend breaks in 2009. The development of the ski regions of Borovets, Bansko and Pamporovo will no doubt attract skiers and snowboarders from all over Europe and the amount of people purchasing a holiday home in the region is still on the increase.

In the next 12 months we expect to see other airlines opening up routes to Bulgaria as the region gains in popularity. These new routes will also provide a vital tourism and business link between the UK and Bulgaria an important aspect for the development of the country.

Bulgarias Finest provide free inspection trips to the Ibar Golf and Ski development in the heart of the Rila Mountains, the opening of the new route from Manchester will give potential investors more opportunity to take advantage of this offer and visit one of the most exciting off-plan developments in Eastern Europe.
